ASSESSMENT OF THE INTERVENTION PROGRAMS BY THE SOCIAL ACTION DEPARTMENT IN SPAIN - VIVES PROJECT
Category: Impact Metrics and Capacitation
Goal: Assessment of the intervention programs of VIVES Project based on a qualitative and quantitative analysis of social value generated by the project in a specific department of Action Against Hunger Foundation in Spain.
Motivation: R4S has established collaboration with a team of researchers from the Basque Country University (UPV), who developed a methodology to value and objectify the integrated social value (ISV) created by foundations or social enterprises.
We've implemented this methodology exclusively for the Department of Social Action in order to quantify in monetary terms the social value created for its intervention programs. These programs are aimed to facilitate the access to the labor market of people at risk of social and labor exclusion by strengthening the capacities and technical skills of NGOs and other actors of the ecosystem that are supporting the social and labor inclusion of vulnerable people.
Our main motivation is to continue developing an accounting standard methodology that can be used by other foundations, social enterprises or specific areas of them.
Impact: Getting an objective and independent qualitative and quantitative analysis to offer a comprehensive methodology to quantify the social value created by projects or areas of social enterprises, foundations or similar businesses..
